Sport builds more than fitness .
Rewardclaimforge has directed a portion of its operating surplus toward community rowing and fitness access programmes since 2015, focusing on groups with limited entry to structured training environments.
The work is practical rather than symbolic — equipment grants, subsidised workshop places, and coaching partnerships with local clubs across the ACT region.
Where the funding goes
Each allocation is reviewed annually against participation data and club feedback. The split below reflects the 2024 financial year distribution across three programme areas.
Rowing as a community tool
Crossfit rowing sits at an awkward intersection — it demands expensive equipment, technical coaching, and consistent access to a facility. For many Canberra residents, at least one of those three is out of reach.
Rewardclaimforge targets that gap directly. Rather than broad sponsorship, the focus stays on rowing-specific resources: erg time, stroke technique workshops, and access to the same programming used in paid courses.
