Rewardclaimforge — Community Giving

Sport builds more than fitness .

Rewardclaimforge has directed a portion of its operating surplus toward community rowing and fitness access programmes since 2015, focusing on groups with limited entry to structured training environments.

The work is practical rather than symbolic — equipment grants, subsidised workshop places, and coaching partnerships with local clubs across the ACT region.

Rowing as a community tool

Crossfit rowing sits at an awkward intersection — it demands expensive equipment, technical coaching, and consistent access to a facility. For many Canberra residents, at least one of those three is out of reach.

Rewardclaimforge targets that gap directly. Rather than broad sponsorship, the focus stays on rowing-specific resources: erg time, stroke technique workshops, and access to the same programming used in paid courses.

Participants in subsidised places complete the same curriculum as full-fee enrolments. No abbreviated content, no separate tracks.
  • Erg loan programme — 4-week rotations
  • Stroke rate clinics at Tuggeranong venue
  • Open application — no income proof required
  • Youth cohort sessions, ages 14–17
  • Partner clubs in Belconnen and Gungahlin
  • Annual review with club coordinators
